anyone out there? really need some advice!!

ladies i dont no if im in early labour or what

ive had belly ache since about 8pm, about an hour ago i went for a pee and on the toilet paper were a few VERY small blobs of blood. I decided to get back in bed and since then i THINK ive felt 3 tightenings about 17 mins apart but i have constant belly ache, feel like i need a BM. but i have no back ache and no period pains

im gunna go for another wee and see if theres any more blood in a few mins, what does this sound like? im worrying x

Well, they aren't very close together yet...if it is labour, it will get closer and intensify. There will be no mistaking it soon. If you get lots of blood, I would phone your m/w. Keep us posted!

Hi Lora, You and I have the same due date an I have been having slight stomach aches and yesterday had really bad ..I think... gas pains. I also have been having my stomach tighten constantly for the last week or so... I think its just our bodies getting ready. As far as the blood, the other day I had like 2 small drops of blood and I realized it was my hemmorids ( which dont ever hurt)... so maybe if you have them, that is what that is.... but if the blood worsens def call your midwife! I saw on your facebook that u have a dr appt tomorrow and you are going to see about inducing, is this by choice or is your dr wanting to induce you.... just curious!

I had some blood this morning and rang the midwife straight away- it was reassuring for me (although she did tell me I might have a while to go!), if I were you, I'd ring. If it is too much blood, you'll have to go in and get checked. My midwife told me to put a pad on, and if I find any red blood, to head in right away.

Laurie210 - no im not asking to be induced early or anything, but the next time i see my midwife after the one in the morning ill be 40+3 so was hoping she would give me a rough idea tommorrow xx

I had this last thurs, for about 6hours felt like I was having contractions and lower down back ache, went to bed at 11m woke u and felt fine!

I saw my midwife and she said its prob jusy pre labour and body getting ready. Hopefully its a sign things are going in the right direction.

Hi Laura hope you managed to get some sleep and feel better this morning. I have had the tightenings on and off for the last couple of weeks but unfortunately nothing to report yet. Keep an eye of any bleeding. Piles are common in pregnancy I have them (sorry tmi) and the pressure of late has made them bleed a bit so hopefully that is all it is.

I have been having period cramping, and occasionally get really really painful contractions that make me stop and go OHHHHHHHH..... then I go to bed and every morning I feel fine with no pain.... Grrrrrr... body stop teasing me.... hehehehehe... I know how you feel... I just wish something real would happen all ready... I think your due date is one day later then mine... Hope things start for us soon and good luck

Well had my midwife appointment this morning, baby is no longer back to back and hes fully engaged! still having tightenings which are pretty painless and are no longer 17 mins apart, but anything from 30 - 45 - an hour! grrr. she offerd to check my cervix but i refused as i really dont like having the examinations unless i find them nessescary, so when the pain worsens ill take myself to the hospital )

i may be hanging around here asking lots of questions from now till the point where i go hospital. i really hope things kick off properly soon! xx

Hi hun, hope ur feeling bit better. Im not sure, like the other girls said could just be your body getting ready so may not be far off.
I have been getting belly cramp on and off but its a daily occurance now for about a week and having stabby pains on/off too. No bleeding though but im only 36 weeks so think its just my body preparing. Also have diarrhoea daily too yuk! Maybe my body is clearing out!
If the bleeding gets heavier and pain intensifies then maybe call MW just to make sure?

Oh you are good, i would have snapped her hand off to check if it was me! You could be 4cm!

When i was in labour with my daughter i was getting period type cramps every 15 mins from about 5:15pm. They didn't turn to be what i would call pains until about 8:15pm when they were coming every 5-6mins. It just felt like i had tummy ache and needed a big poo!
