Anyone perscribed addtl Clomid/Femara for same cycle(CD9-13)?

I had a scan today at day 9 and I had two follicles that were too small. (was taking 7.5mg of Femara days 3-7) She has me taking 12.5mg of Femara today through CD13 to then go back in for an ultrasound to see how much bigger they are.

Anyone else have this happen?

I am on something sort of similar. Neither Clomid nor Femara seem to work for me on their own. I was on Clomid 150mg 3-7 one month and when I went for a scan day 10 there were no good follicles so they put me on 7.5mg Femara 10-14. We just happened upon but it seems to work. I've had 3 good follicles on day 16/17 both times we used that protocol when each med alone isn't doing much. Still no BFP but I am glad to find a med combination that works.

Glad it worked for you and that I am not alone in the situation! I went for another scan yesterday (day 13) and had three in there cooking. 13.5, 14.5 and 15.5. It is working!!!! So excited. I ws so worried we would have to go to the injectable medication. Just waiting for the happy face or Saturday(trigger shot) which ever comes first. I haven't ovulated yet which is late for me but have to think that it is related to the medicine.

Yeah, I was in the same place - if it didn't work it was on to the $$$ injectibles. I didn't O til day 18 or 19 so I am sure you are later due to the meds. Sounds like you have 3 good follicles though.
