Anyone seen/tried out the new Avent bottles?

Was just browsing on the mothercare website and found Avent have a new type of bottle out

The teat looks more like the tommee tippee teat now. Just wondered if any ladies had tried them? xx

Hmmm.

See I like TT because the teets are much softer, I tried bubzy on a free advent one I got in the post but she hated it.

I'd have to have a little feel and see, but if they seem better I'd be willing to try them. Will keep an eye on this thread to see what people say!

No way I'll be buying new bottles just cos of a redesign (think the TT ones look ridiculous anyway). I WILL however be incredibly pissed off if they pull the teats for their existing bottles to try to force everyone to buy the redesigned ones... may go out and buy the next size up teats in advance just in case cos that's the sort of thing I could see any company doing!

I have the new ones (and the old ones) my LO feeds really well with them and brings up some great burps - thumbs up from me for the new Avent bottles

We're just starting to combi feed giving a bottle at night & we've tried the old avent bottles which lo was ok with but the flow was a little fast fit him. We've now tried the new ones and they're great. He has to work a little harder like his does on the breast & gets on brilliantly. Little mess, drinks it really quickly & only has a little bit of wind.

we have them and DD has less wind on them and seems to feed happier

I got one in the post! I joined Avent baby club aaaaages ago, and then the other day I got a free bottle from them! Obviously I've not tried it yet though.

can i also add if you email avent they will send you new rings and lids so you can convert the old bottles to the new style all you need is the teat......

i emailed them saying i had bought the wrong teats was it possible to use them and they sent the new rings.... they arrived the next day

I saw an advert for them and thought they looked just like tommee tippee ones. I haven't seen them in the shops yet though but I'm a Dr Brown devotee so they would have to be pretty good to drag me away from my Dr Browns! X

we were given two of those teats from the website you advertised but not the bottles as our friend needed them but the teats were terrible for bubs. She prefers fast flowing teats and we are sticking with the regular 125ml and 260ml avent bottles i do not think its much of a difference but the teats were a hassle for her
