and at how many weeks if you are?
never used it and this is my third pregnancy. just curious. tried pineapple and sex last night to no avail:wacko::flower:

Ive heard bad things about it like it causing babys bowels to open inside you! I wouldnt go near it!

I used it in my last preg at 41+2 all it did after makin me gag was make me shit!!! I didn't go into labour I ended up bein induced at 41+5 :( x

Please don't try it.

It's side effects include dehydration which can cause baby to go into distress.

There are various threads about this, scroll down and they all say the same.

Don't do it.

Try other natural methods.

castor oil is very dangerous for inducing labour, i also wouldnt be attempting to induce labour at 37 weeks baby still potentially has a few weeks left of cooking to do, they will come when they are ready ultimately

I tried castor oil with all three of mine, although it did not cause labor it did help me make change... It did make me use the bathroom, and had to drink plenty of fluids. There is no exact study either saying that meconium being passed is from castor oil.

Im unsure still of doing this my aunty did this and withing 3 hours of taking it her daughter was born but they said if she would of took more she would have slipped out and would of been dangerous !!

if nothing seems to of worked by next weekend (my due date) then I Might give it a go

No, it's dangerous.. Women back in the day used to mix castor oil and gin together to either bring on a miscarriage OR if a miscarriage has already started drink it to help it along. They called it the mothers mayhem

Try clary sage oil you put a few drops in the bath or/and rub some over on your bump, if u do use it on your bump mix it with almond oil or baby oil.
Then after relax for about an hour.

This doesn't cause the side effects.. You can get some from Holland and Barrets 10ml for around £9-£10 xx

heard bad things too- i definately think there are reasonswhy pregnant women are not allowed to buy it x x

I wouldnt try it.
I would just keep bouncing on your ball and stuff like that.
Seems to have done something for me :)
