Anyone use Enfamil AR (anti reflux) - i have a question...

So I think my LO has acid reflux. We are waiting for a pead appointment to come through. My doc thought its a milk allergy but I'm not so sure. He prescribed neocate (and a few other milks before) all of which still havent really helped.

Basically I'm now trying enfamil AR started it last night and she took 8oz!! (she only has 6oz of neocate) I didn't think she would drink as much as it is much thicker? She was a bit sick but input that down to over eating. She slept from 8.40-7.15 this morning, I was god smacked. However this morning she has has 5oz and again keeps bringing some back up, pulling her legs up, hands in her mouth and crying! I'm not sure if it's because she is hungry or her body getting used to it? Any ideas??

My son too has acid reflux but we haven't tried enfamil ar yet, we are doing enfamil newborn with a formula scoop of rice cereal in every 4 oz.

It maybe that she is getting used to the formula. Perhaps waiting to decide after a few more feeds? What symptoms of reflux does your baby havea. With my son it was being fussy after feeds, gulping, making a throw up sound while feeding then crying, and occasional projectile vomiting an entire feed.

You do know your baby best and should go its your best instinct. I know how frustrating and upsetting it can be to watch your baby struggle with feeding issues. I shed many tears and was awake for many nights worrying about my son.

It takes some trial and Error to find what works but it will be a relief once you find the best formula. Best of luck to you both!
