DH and I are soon going to be travelling to Israel. There's a long tradition of individuals placing notes for God into the crevices of the Western Wall. Jewish belief is that, since the wall is the last remaining remnant of the temple, it's one of the holiest places one can pray. As I mentioned, it's customary for people to squeeze tiny notes with their hopes, dreams and prayers written on them for God to read, into crevices in the wall.
If anyone would like to email me a note, I promise not to read it, and I will simply print it, fold the paper and slip it into the wall. I can't guarantee that I won't see a word or two, but given the private nature of such letters, I promise to do my best to just print them quickly and not read them!
Please let me know if this interests you. I'll be adding a note of my own. Gee....I wonder what I'll ask for...
PS. Your notes don't necessarily have to ask for anything. Giving thanks and general chatter is also pretty typical
