I'm just curious to know if there are any LTTTC ladies the same age as me.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should give up but the thought is too painful.
I'm scared if I give up, I'll break down completely but maybe I should just accept this is the way it is. I'm too late.

Sorry don't want to rnr or see your post go without reply. I've a friend who had her first at 40. They were very ltttc. She put off seeking help for years, opted to go private and was pregnant within 3 mths of first appointment, with an IVF baby boy. Good luck.

If the idea of giving up scares you so much,
don't give up yet..
People do get pregnant at 42 and over it just takes time sometimes...
Can I be nosy and ask how long you have been trying for you 1st baby?
Anyway I hope you get your :baby: xxxx

Hi. We've been trying since Sept 2011. Got a BFP first time but miscarried 10 days later. Nothing since.

I've seen loads of posts by women slightly younger than me ttc#1 but hardly any from women my age.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage in 2011 :growlmad:
But I hope it is a little bit easier because you can get pregnant...
There is a few over 42 years trying to get no 1 over on the 35+ board..

Sending your some :dust::dust: for this month..xxx

Have a nice day..

Hey I'm 42 and my husband is also 42, it's a struggle and I too have been looking for people our age. I'm not giving up, as some gorgeous woman once told me, if you're having a period there's always a chance. What I struggle with is Mothers Day which is next weekend in Australia, that is a day I hate. My cycle is due 3 days before Mother's Day, feeling pms symptoms now, so will be a 'fun' day. Oh and people asking if we've thought about adoption, of course we've thought about adoption.

Hey Kiwi! It's good to know there are others out there our age.

You're so right about the struggle. I have good days and really bad days. I hope you make it through Mother's Day ok. Like you say, there's always a chance. We have to hang in there.
