Anyone with experience of Forever Living Products or network marketing businesses?

I think like a lot of people, I'm trying to find a way of earning money while still being able to be there for my LO. My current industry isn't that amenable to flexible or part time working so I would in all likelihood have to work 5 days a week for long hours.

I have been approached for a network marketing opportunity and find myself feeling equally positive and sceptical at the same time! I have absolutely no intention of selling anything to my family, friends or acquaintances so wonder if it's still possible to make any money!

Does anyone have any experience of these types of companies either having tried themselves or through knowing someone else to has given it a go?

My friend did this a few years ago (in about 2005) and he didn't get alot out of it...He was palming off aloe vera stuff for ages afterwards when he found he couldn't sell it.

it may well be different now because like I say, it was a few years ago.

have you considered Usborne Books? I have been with them for over 9 years, started when the kids were small.

you don't have to sell to friends or family, but actually as the books are so lovely that people want to buy them from you!!

I don't do Forever Living, but i've had a really fantastic experience with Kleeneze., which is another Network Marketing Business.

I started in February 2009 after being made redundant from my last job and I was able to make £242.00 in my first 4 weeks (just through distribution) and that's steadily rose since. I do 12 - 15 hours a week now and i'm hoping to start doing the business building side of things, and i'm also hoping to start doing Cabouchon jewellery parties through Kleeneze aswell (think Virgin Vie parties, ann summers parties etc but with jewellery )

So, I don't know much about Forever Living, but Network Marketing definitely works

Feel free to PM me if you want any information about Network Marketing or anything (doesn't have to be about Kleeneze lol, would just be glad to help you ).

BTW.... have to say.... Am I the only one that's noticed that the first reply from "Ebrissa" is her only post? Suppose she joined JUST to tell you about her experience with Forever?? Lol.

Well of course they do but most people at least make their first post relevant to the forum that they're posting in. For example, most people that join this site are actually interested in pregnancy, trying to conceive, parenting etc and would have posted about those topics or would have posted on the introduction board.

Its only my personal opinion but i'm a member of several forums and it really does get annoying for me when people join just to make a comment about a specific MLM/Network Marketing company and then never comeback. The same when people join just to post about other spam like diet pills/online games etc. Indeed, if someone had actually joined to make that comment as a thread, nobody would hesitate to declare it spam so what's the difference when someone joins just to post it on somebody else's thread? In my own opinion, I can't see one.

Lol exactly, that's what I meant - I just don't always explain myself very well! I think the only reason that 'Booklady' got so defensive is because she's essentially done the same thing. She's joined and then only made posts to advertise Usborne Books - although she at least stuck around a bit!

oops! sorry, must have missed something!! well good luck with it anyway! saw them at an event last week and looks like they've added to their range.

Have fun
