I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago (8 I think?) and endo about 3 months ago. We've been TTC for about 13 months now (not long compared to some... I know, but still long enough!).

I had another op last week to finish up what they did (remove adhesions etc) and they tested my tubes (both open!) and said I am ovulating, but I now think my Luteal phase isn't working properly as it's only about 11 days usually... and I've been spotting since about 4 DPO. And that's when I actually do ovulate (I don't every month, more like every third so far from what I can see).

We are goign to be looking at getting hubby tested and possibly clomid in the next few weeks after post op gyno appt :)

Anyone else with both of these?

Hi! I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago now and am petrified about having to wait until next year to start trying for fear of it not happening. Part of me would love to start now, but it wouldn't be the right time if it did happen.
My doctor has said I can go onto Clomid next year when we're ready to try.

I hope things work out for you, as it's horrible being told you have either or both conditions.

Sarah :)

Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2004 and endo was found during a lap/dye procedure in May of this year. I rarely ovulate and had crazy irregular cycles since coming off the pill a year and a half ago. Didn't respond to clomid at any dose so now am doing injectable cycles. Had an early miscarriage in July. Such a tough journey but just wanted you to know that I'm wishing you the VERY best of luck and sending lots of :dust:

Thanks heaps both of you. I personally don't find either to be a too big a deal, as I do occasionally ovulate and I'm not in much pain now (except the post op pain) after the last op. It was the adhesions rather than the endo that was hurting the second time. My cycles are a little crazy but not too long which is a good thing (66 to 14 day cycles in past year, and the 30, 40, 35, 21, 64 and whatever else there was at the same time!). Was your endo sever mitzy or just mild? Mines "extensive" but not sure what he means by that exactly... it was a "stage 2-4" operation cost, but that doesn't mean much either!

I'm hoping to have an appt in next few days and will suggest clomid and how to deal with the spotting (which isn't a baby ideal enviroment!).

Have any of you (as in everyone who might have both) started the premenstural spotting AFTER the endo op? I.e had 8 days of pretty good spotting and then this time 4... kinda over it!
