how long are you going to wait to try for ur next after having a section?

I'm waiting 6 months after my emergency c-section to try for baby #2. This is what the doc who performed the surgery recommended for us and we want to try vbac. Before having the section, I always planned on waiting 3 months before trying again so our children would be close in age, plus I'm 34 and don't want to wait any longer.

thnx girls, we want to try again now but i know we have to wait. im not bf 7 weeks on still no af. hopefully it will show soon so i can start the pill. We will prob start in about 6 months x

Waiting after a c-section... well I'm going to we waiting "extra long" lol because I have other things that need doing before I TTC.. but I have worries about getting pregnant again! I am so worried about what will happen at my incision site as my belly stretches and grows!
