Anyones LO over 9.5lbs??

This i max at 3 weeks old, he was born 9lbs and was approx 10lbs here

My second eldest was 9lb 12, nearly 60cm long (when remeasured he was actually about 58 so still massive) and HC of 40cm, aside from one knitted outfit from Mothercare; no newborn size stuff fitted him at all, he went straight into 0-3 and completely outgrew anything in that size by 3 weeks. Second youngest was also similar, 9lb 6, 57cm long and HC of 38cm, again straight into 0-3 and completely outgrown that size by 3 weeks. What you'll often find though is big babies don't stay big, in many cases they are average or even below by 6 months xx

Mine was 9lb 3oz and is now at 96th percentile at nearly 30lbs. He was very short and wide, got stuck in delivery. I won't lie - yes, your baby may look like a 3 month old!!! 0-3 months lasted me for about 4-6 weeks, in 3-6 after that. Newborn clothes? LOL never even used them.

It's not a bad thing. Heavy babies tend to come faster due to gravity.

He was born at 9lbs 13oz

He is 9 days old now - he looked newborn & alot smaller than i thought he would. We are currently in newborn clothes of up to 10lbs well vests & sleepsuits. his clothes are 0-3 as i would not buy any smaller but they swamp him at the mo so i hope i get some good wear out of them

Congrats! He will go through several growth spurts from now-14 days, 21 days so I don't think they'll swamp him for long.
