Apples???

My gran brought us a huge bag of cooking apples on the weekend, was gonna attempt something tomorrow.. I can go to the shops after jobcentre then in the afternoon try to make something. What can i make?!?!
is there anything else other than apple pir or crumble???
If there is then what??
and how??
and if there isnt... how do i do the crumble or pie??

And is there anything savory i can make.. like a meal?? or are they too sweet for that and only for desserts??

The apples are probably gone by now, but you can make a nice apple stuffing to serve with either chicken or pork. Just use your favorite stuffing recipe or get the stove top kind and add diced apple and cook.

thanks, yeah theyve gone bad.. nevermind. dont know how to make stuffing.. but ill bear that in mind for the next time my gran visits and brings apples!

As far as stuffing goes, you can go the easy way and use Stove Top Stuffing mix...if you have it there. Comes in a box and you just add the wet ingredients and cook.
