Anyone's LO on this?
Were you advised to switch by the HV? Or did you just do it? What were your baby's symptoms and did changing milk help?
Edward has been diagnosed with reflux, however, doesn't seem to be responding to meds. I saw this in Asda yesterday so I bought some. He doesn't technically have colic or constipation (quite the opposite actually!) but they suspect possible lactose intolerance, or just really bad reflux, so either way something easier on his tummy has to be a good thing right? Plus it's a thicker milk, so will help if it is reflux.
I feel like I might be doing something wrong as I haven't asked the HV, but he's my son, I know him best and so far he seems to be a much happier baby and hasn't been sick once. xx
ETA- he was previously on aptamil first milk. He was refusing feeds, screaming and trying to push the bottle out. Since switching he cries to be fed, takes the bottle happily and takes all he wants in one go with no fuss.
