hi

sorry if this has been asked already did look and couldnt see it!

i have been using aptamil since my little boy was born 9 weeks ago. i make my bottles up in advance and put in the fridge but sometimes when he has finished the bottle it still looks like the powder hasnt dissolved properly! :nope:

i have tried waiting for the kettle to cool for 30 mins then making them and i have tried with hotter water. i always shake really well. i jus dont no wat else to try he hasnt been ill from it so does it jus happen sometimes?

thanks in advance

I use aptamil also, but I haven't noticed powder when she's finished her bottle. Sometimes it gets clogged in the teat but that's all.

Sorry I've not been much help, maybe one of the other ladies will have an answer for you. X

Sometimes there is, i do give another little stir/shake when i get it out of the fridge and then when i have heated it up.

I have had this on occasion, just need to make sure they are shaken well.I usually shake when I make, then once cooled and again before and after I have warmed it up.xx

We get this too hun. I usually stop the bottle half way thru her feeding to make sure it's not clumped up like that and if there's some on the side, I just give it a quick swirl and most of the time it disappears.
We make ours with luke warm water but have tried it with hot with the same results

I also use Aptamil (AR) & it also happens to me from time to time.

i found this with aptamil, Niall also spits up a bit and I found the upchuck was like cottage cheese I couldn't handle it (especially when he threw up in my mouth lol) so I changed to cow & gate which is tonnes better :-)

I have found this with the First Milk and it is worse with the Follow on Milk. I will use the tip above about giving it a good shake before and after I have heated it up, I am obviously not shaking it vigorously...

I used to try and keep the watter stirring whilst adding powder x

My DD is 9 months now, but still on Aptimil twice a day. I found that using hot water helped and a really good shake before and after you warm the bottle :)
