Hi ladies.

I was just interested to know whether anybody has been to aquanatal classes or is thinking about it? I would love to go but I'm not sure what is involved.

S x

I am - finally found one which isn't on on a weekday during work hours - should be good as it's at a hotel - it's like gentle aqua aerobics I think - looking forward to it.

I am looking to start this too - I need some exercise, I have turned in to a couch potato!

id love to do this too but there isnt anywhere local to me :( enjoy it

I went last pg and this one, I'm lucky to have a great friend pg also both times so we go together it's great exercise and a really good laugh, we giggle like school girls all way thru it tho some women there take it really serious! Afterwards the midwife who runs it does a meeting so you get to meet other mums in area or ask questions, you get a lot more honest answers from other mums as you know from here x

Yep I'm planning to go as soon as I get my arse into gear lol. Apparently it's good for you and baby as well as preparing you for labour it's also good for relaxation :)

I'm planning on just going to normal Aqua classes at my gym. As long as you make the instructor aware you're pregnant, it should be fine. I also go to "normal" pilates classes and they just tailor certain excercises for pregnancy.

The one I'm thinking of going to is on tonight but I can't make my mind up whether I'm brave enough to go alone lol x

Hi sar35,

There are some aquanatal classes in Herne Bay on Friday mornings - I know its not really close to you but I think it takes about 1/2 hour to get over there from Deal x
