Are Cow & Gate Comfort and Aptamil Comfort the same thing?

I think I read on here a while ago that Cow & Gate and Aptamil are made by the same company, so does that mean that their Comfort milk is exactly the same?

The reason I ask is because I usually buy Cow & Gate comfort, but my local supermarket only sells Aptamil comfort so in an emergency I bought that. I've checked the ingredients and they do look exactly the same.

Am I ok to swap between the two, in the assumption that they are essentially the same product? xxx

I know that the first infant milks are exactly the same but not sure about the comfort, would assume so though.

the ingredients of he milks may be the same, but the make up of the formulae is different. ds throws ups and refuses aptimal but happily takes cow and gate.

I second pp. dd wasn't happy at all on cow and gate but thrived on aptamil. Also aptamil I very noticeably thinner I thought.

Im sure they both used to be the same then C&G added LCPs to theirs.
