Hi there! I had a miscarriage this past March and just got my BFP yesterday. Yay! I had spoken to my doc a few months ago about being monitored more closely if I were to get pregnant again and she was all for it. I called to make my first appointment which is at 7 weeks. That is when the "normal" first appointment is though - so I was wondering if I should go in sooner for early testing or something? I've read about people taking progesterone in the first tri, or baby aspirin... and I don't know if I need any of these things but want to know as early as possible if I do, right?!

Did you all go in early?

I was only monitored after a second MC. I started the aspirin myself without consultation with the doctor and went in after the second MC and insisted on a progesterone script. I'm not sure if it did it, but my third pregnancy was successful and has been a breeze.

Best of luck to you :)

I had a blighted ovum miscarriage before this baby and I requested to have my HCG tested in the beginning to make sure it was rising enough to be a viable pregnancy. They were more than willing to do that thank goodness because I would've been more of a mess with stress and anxiety if they hadn't. They usually see women at 8 weeks at my ob office but they also saw me a week early to help with my fearfulness.

After my mmc I got no extra monitoring the next time except my midwife offered to lie to me to get me an early scan (my gp tried to get me one but the hospital apparently don't do reassurance scans! Sadly that ended after bad news at my 20 week scan. This time I got an early scan and have just had a specialist cardiac scan for the baby and will have another at 20 and at 28 weeks. As far as I know here you don't get any extra monitoring until you've had 3 miscarriages in a row.
