Argghhh!!

A full bloody table has just pulled out of my wedding which is 2 days away!

My friend her daughter and other half can't make it because they have a cold....they have had this cold for 2 weeks! why didn't they tell me this 2 weeks ago so atleast I know that they may not come?
My friends mum and her friend have pulled out because they are on a health care assistant course for the next 3 days....why didn't they book the saturday off anyway??

My other friend and her daughter have pulled out because she is moving house on the day of my wedding....I had no idea that she was moving!

So that is a full table of 7 which is now empty and I have to find 7 more people to fill it when the wedding is just 2 days away!!

I can't stop crying everything is going wrong!!

Please dont cry. I can imagine how stressful this all is, but your day will still be perfect, even if there are a few empty seats

It is way out of order for the ones who are moving/on a course to leave it so late to tell you. Those sorts of things don't exactly come up last minute

How many tables do you have? could you not spread the empty seats out a bit so they arent all on one table, if that makes sense?! I know you have already given your seating plan to the venue, but i'm sure they can tweak it for you!!

And if all else fails, i'll come

thats a good idea, about spreading the people out a bit- but i can imagine that would intervine with your seating plan??? Do you HAVE to make up the numbers- would it be a problem to have one table less? If so, ask other family members- or even your next door neighbours!!!!

it was very wrong of them to pull out at such short notice- how dare they!!! Crap happens but try to focus on the matter at hand- your getting married to the man you love, stuff the people around you!!! xx

The thing that has upset me the most is that I havent got any friends coming to the evening do because those people who have pulled out are my only friends.

A couple of years ago i realised who my friends were now I am second guessing myself about the decision I made.

I just feel like shit, I really can't believe a whole table isn't coming.

The thing is because everything is ready like the seating plan I can't take a table away because if I pull it off the seating plan it will pull half of the card away with it.

OH is phoning a couple of friends he know that are coming to the evening and seeing if they can make it to the day. I feel horrible I have to do this because they look like second best and its so short notice.

God I feel like crap!

When your OH asked his friends about the day do, instead of saying 'there is space coz people pulled out' could he not say 'the venue is more spacious than we thought and wanted to extend the invite to a select few friends'...then they might feel special, rather than second best
