I think it is possible. It depends on many things, when the tests were taken, how diluted the pee was etc.

Yes because blood tests are more sensitive. Alot of pee tests you need 25 hcg to register. So if you are testing very very early (before the first day of your missed period) then a blood test would be more accurate hun. That being said, make sure she gets the quantitative blood test, which tests exactly how much hcg is in your body. The only thing is I dont really see the point of getting one that early unless you have a positive pregnancy test, since pregancy tests are sooo accurate by the 1st day of your missed period, and the chances of having a chemical are pretty high so you'd want to wait until you miss your period so as not to cause unnessesary heartache.

yep because blood tests can pick up exactly how much hcg is in your blood whilst pee sticks can only pick up a minimum range and may not always be accurate x

I've heard they can, but how would you get one??? Wouldn't doctors say that if you're having negative pee tests, there's no point in a blood one??..
Someone on another thread asked something similar earlier cause she's missed af but testing negative.

yes huni blood tests are more sensitive they can pick up the pg hormone as soon as you become pg.... x

Anyone know why some people show negative on pee tests but pos on blood tests? Why would your urine not pick up the hormone? x

Some people naturally produce a much lower concentration of HCG that isn't detected on a POAS test. I used to work in the ER, and every once in a while, you would get someone with nausea, no AF, and they would have a negative urine test and a positive blood test.
As to getting one done, I started having problems with the NuvaRing last year, and didn't get visited by :witch: for 92 days. Prior to that, I was 28 days, on the money. After having six or seven (ha) :BFN:, I had a blood test done by my PMD, and again by my GYN. So, getting a blood test done depends on the situation. If you were only late by a couple days, I doubt they would do it.
Hope this helps!
