Athlete's foot.

Hi,

Athletes foot is driving me crazy at the moment! Does anyone know what's safe to treat it when you're pregnant? I've just checked my dhs cream and it says 'consult your doctor' if pregnant.


Any help?!

I had the same problem and neither my midwife or the pharmacist would say if there is anything safe to use. I ended up using the Scholl powder as that didn't say anything about seeking advice first. I wanted to use the Scholl spray as I have found that great in the past but that did say to ask your pharmacist and the pharmacist wouldn't give me an answer!! In the past I have had athlete's foot which has lasted 2 years and covered the entire of my foot so I had to use something to stop it from progressing back to that.

I asked the pharmacist about Lamasil Once and she said it wasn't suitable for the early stages of pregnancy but it was fine later on. I used it at about 24 weeks IIRC.
