hi all!

Ive heard alot of things about bad egg quality when you ovulate late, or higher risk of miscarriage etc etc, but then Ive also heard and seen many women have normal, healthy pregnancies and babies.....

So just wanted to see what you lovely ladies experiences were.....

Im currently 7dpo of a long cycle. I ovulated cd35 this cycle. Its not particularly common for me, usual cd23/24 but it has seemed that all year my body has done whatever it wanted

Thanks all in advance :flower: xxx

Until I had Sophie I always ovulated beyond CD40. I did have a couple of miscarriages before I had Thomas but plenty of miscarriages occur for women who have that ideal 28 day cycle.

When I conceived Thomas it was March 4th and my last period was November the year before. He's a normal kid and there were non issues. With Sophie there was 3 months since my last period before I got my positive pregnancy test at 9DPO. She's also healthy and happy.

fantastic! Thank you for replying!

Thats it, miscarriages can happen at anytime throughout any womens cycle.... I guess i was wondering if it was typically more common. I miscarried last year, but i ovd cd24. I ovd cd24 with my daughter and had no problems during pregnancy and she is happy and healthy now

Thank you xxx

I ovulate late and I've been pregnant 5 times and have two living babies--both born full term and healthy. After my last miscarriage I started to take extra folic acid and fish oil as they are supposed to help with egg quality (my lost babies were always misshapen, slow growth, had weak heart beats, etc, so figured egg quality was the reason) and then went on to have my DD. It was also my first pregnancy I did not have a blood clot in the womb around the baby.

I have pcos and my ovulation is all over the place. I track my cycles and with M I ovulated on cd 47. He was 3 days late and is a healthy and happy little boy. I do know however that women with pcos tend to have good egg quality (our eggs last a bit later in life than other women) .

I O'd about CD33 first pregnancy, I have a healthy nearly 3YO now, I did have serious bleeding early on possibly down to loosing an undeveloped twin but they were not sure.

Second pregnancy I O'd around CD20 and have a healthy babba too.

I found using Agnus Castus until O helped shorten my cycles first time around but I messed it up that cycle where I O'd CD33 by taking something else too (B vits I think) :dohh:

thank you, yay for lots of healthy bubbas all round xx

I was on clomid and ovulated on cd 31. My LO is perfectly healthy and sitting on my knee now.

I know it's hard but try not to look for things to worry about, pregnancy has enough of those as it is.

Good luck this week!

thank you! Your so right! I think its just that as im in my tww im excited about the possibility that i could be pregnant, but i wondered if because i ovulated later, whether i should expect my chances to be reduced and therefore shouldnt get too excited....
Congrats on your very recent arrival :cloud9: xxxxxx

Ps. I took soya (natural clomid) this cycle too

I had really long cycles - anything from 34- 90+ days so had no idea when I was due to ovulate. I conceived naturally but had a mmc, then conceived again with clomid- a healthy almost 4 year old now. I had another mc but then conceived my youngest - after a test where dye was injected to see how my tubes were- I guess it moved something out of the way as just after that I conceived my now 2 month old

wow chelle thank you for sharing! Seems clomid has really helped with alot of women in this situation. I took soy iso this cycle for the first time  xx
