Aug 17 due date looking for bump buddies

My husband and I want to do a private scan but I think we may wait till I'm a bit further along. His friend told him that they gave him and his wife a ton of pictures and a cute teddy bear, so now he is all excited to go there!

Yes my friend did it and got a teddy bear with the heartbeat in it. So cool!! She also paid a flat fee and got to go back 3 different times (i think once each trimester) and they paid around $150. My US place game me a ton of pics like 12 and also put them on a CD so I feel very fortunate it's covered by my insurance and he's so good.

Ya, it is $150 for me as well, but I don't think my insurance covers private scans.

Hey Krystale welcome!! How are ?? Wow baby no 3, how's this one gong any different from your previous two??

Well for me this is the first one, so cautiously excited!!

I had a very rough time with my first pregnancy.. Long story short, I had e coli and didn't realise for quite a few weeks, I lost 2 stone in weight and the medication the doctors gave me for it I reacted with. So that sent me into hospital for 5 days and I almost got induced at 27 weeks Spent most of my pregnancy barely able to eat or drink and was constantly sick the whole way through. But thankfully made excellent progress in hospital, they let me home and eventually my son was born 41+1!

Baby number 2 was pretty plain and simple, had e coli yet again but docs caught it quick and gave me different medication so no problems at all really aside from the few weeks of sickness!

This baby is surprising me! I found out on 1st December at just 5 weeks pregnant and from then until now I think I've had about 4 days in total of sickness. So far so good! Had 1st scan on 20th Jan, baby all looks healthy and happy. Very fidgety, cannot wait!

Oh wow m so glad everything worked out so well for you and sure everything is great!!

Mine is going great too, had my 11 weeks scan today I am measure few days ahead than my sticker so it was great luved it

Only thing I am finding hard is what to eat when outside cuz I am too scared of listeria and msg

I am going to have a week out program with my family but really thinking as what are the safe places to try as I am mostly eating home made

I had a terrible thing for greasy food and takeaways with baby 1, hence the e coli lol. It was KFC where I got it from unfortunately

Have you had any cravings? Or been put off of any foods? So hard to work out a diet sometimes because your cravings can change as well as going off of foods

I tend to have daily cravings with this baby. Changes every few days! X

Omg so that's another thing adding to my list now E. coli from outside food now I a, really thinking I need to know what things are safe to eat outside

As I am going for a weeks holiday and sure I'll need couple of options!!

I don't have much craving hun and no aversions either so can eat anything just want to know some safe options if u knw hun do let me know thanks!!

When my partner and I announced baby number 3 to friends and distant family, we lined up a pair of shoes each. My partners, then mine, then our sons, then our daughters, with baby booties at the end. Caption was "1991, 1993, 2011, 2013 and... 2015 " was uploaded to facebook and everyone loved it x

Ya even I told to inlaws and my parents want to few very close friends planning to tell everyone else once I am over 3 months mark

We are planning to click few pictures in beautiful dress and post on fb as on 22 feB is our 3 rd wedding anniversary so something like 3 years of togetherness and welcoming third member of our family meaning our first child lol haven't really put up actual words yet but thinking of something similar

I have struggled to find gender neutral shoes though so I bought some socks that have little teddy bear heads on them. Similar to these but they are a stone color

I have been sick since before xmas with sinus infection/flu/ear infection. So not great. Didn't really have much ms. I bit of nausea here and there. Funny enough it picked up at 10w, bit better now.

No not yet. Getting everything done on friday. I am a bit nervous though.

Yes in the beginning I was thinking boy but lately girl. So now I am just confused. I am really struggling to find a nice boy name too. Our first language is Afrikaans, similar to dutch and german. I want a name that is bolingual which is narrowing the field a lot!! There are so manu beautiful english names.

The calendar idea is brilliant!

When we first found out, before uploading the shoe picture, we decided to tell close family in their Christmas cards! Just added 'baby number 3' after all our names. At Christmas when we were all opening cards and presents their faces were an absolute picture when they all realised what was happening!

How's your pregnancy so far?

My sickness is slowly wearing off now, I'm 13 weeks + 3 days. As it's my 3rd I'm getting a bump already which is exciting and I'm sure I can feel the baby wriggle already.. Sounds crazy but I felt my 2nd move at 14 weeks and I'm getting the familiar flutter feeling now
