Any tips?

We flew before on long haul flights with Josh and it was fine, but he was much younger than he is now. He has a lot more anxiety and rigidity when it comes to ''new'' experiences. So I really don't know how he will be on a 8h flight to the UK this time.

Should I let the flight attendant know he has autism? He has a fear of strangers touching him... (NOT looking forward to security check:nope:...)

Thanks xxx

Well when I took James on a plane (before he was diagnosed but I knew something was going on at that time) the flight attendants were very supportive and let me get up with him and walk around the plane, my son is 2. They even let him sit in the front of the plane out of his seat to calm him down because he was having a meltdown in his seat!

I have never been on a plain with my daughter but if I was I would tell other people in advanced. My daughter can really have some serious tantrums and fits and I have found that people are more understanding if they know.
