Autumn or Amelia

So we don't know yet what we're having but for girls I kind of like those two names. At first I thought Autumn was off the table since there is someone sort of in the family with that name, but hubby says it doesn't matter and wouldn't bother anyone. So now its down to those two. What do you ladies like better?

They are both lovely - and I love both of them!! I probably wont be much help bc I can't really choose between the 2 of them!

Amelia is gorgeous but quite popular; Has nice nickname choices, my fav being "Lia."

Autumn is very pretty - more unique - my favorite season! But no nickname choices.

Maybe decide after you see her? Once you meet her, see which one suits her best?

Autumn, I think it's really pretty.

Amelia is good too but I know soooo many, and at least 75% of them are called Amelia Rose! Maybe it's just put me off.

Both very pretty, but agree with above that Amelia is a lot more popular, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd deffo wait to meet her to see which name suits her 😀 x

I much prefer Amelia but as others have said it seems to be very popular right now. What about Emilia? Less popular and slightly different (I prefer that spelling/pronounciation anyway, personally).

I love autumn, Amelia is just too popular for me although I like the suggestion of spelling it Emilia.

Amelia was on our list for Rebecca, unfortunately it didn't suit her and it just wasn't her name iykwim? Autumn is nice too. I don't think you could go wrong with either name but agree with pp that you should wait to see her before naming her.

Amelia for me, I know it is popular but I love the classic/traditional of it.

Autumn is a little too out there for me, I know it's a perfectly ordinary name but would seem unusual as names in my family are fairly traditional.

I absolutely adore Autumn, it's so unique and it's a beautiful name.

If I ever have a little girl I'd love to be able to call her Autumn but my little boy is called Winter so that might make their names seem a bit silly. Of I'd of had a girl first time would have been that though x

I love Amelia it is sooo pretty but as others have said I'd be put off by its popularity. Autumn is lovely I'd def go with that.x
