Aw NOOOOOOOOO - Blood

Well i got a spotting of the dreaded blooooooood....

Went to work today and BAM, there was brown blood on my pants. This was about lunchtime, and i have been to the loo about 4 times since and its gone.

Now i know spotting is common - but after having a MMC in April, im terrified this is it all over again....

Hubby aint home till Monday, so dont want to call my EPU.
We have an early scan on Tues anyway ( 9wks).., but TUes still a long time away

* About now is roughly when my period would be due..... would this matter????

Someone calm me please!!!!

Oh honey, i ahve no idea, but didn't wanna read and run.

Please call EPU, your midwife or NHS direct. Tuesday morning is a long way off and you could be stressing yourself unnecessarily.


At about 7 1/2 weeks i had some brown blood (quite thick) but got a scna that day and all was well. In total there was probably only about 4 or 5 hrs between finding the blood and getting scanned but they were tortuous long hours.

Really dont want to call EPU, as hubby away and there is no way i woud ask someone to come with me after my last horrific ultrasound which i learned of my MMC...

No blood since, so im just gonna ride it out..... or should i say stress it out

Just wanted to give you some reassurance. I had a small bleed at about 8 weeks which was aroung the time my period would have been due. IT was a saturday and Ihad to wait til the tuesdayfor a n emerceny scan but everything was fine and I saw bubs heartbeat!!!!

Kafs, it could be any number of reasons but I am so sorry you are going through this stress. I would be exactly the same, but you CAN spot at the time of your period, and everything CAN be ok. My sister had this at 8 weeks and all was fine so there is every chance that it will be the same for you. I wish I had never heard of a MM....never had till it happened. Puts the fear of god into everthing, doesn't it? Thinking about you.

Hey Kafs - try not to stress. I'd take it as a good sign that it's brown not red and also that it's gone. The timing around your AF makes sense too. Take care of yourself!

brown blood is common around week 8 or 9 i had it @ 9 weeks

Hubby says all these things too, but you guys know exactly how im feeling and that means more.

I am going to assume it has something to do with my AF being due about now... no blood this morning, or cramps - so all good in the hood!

Kafs - I echo what the girls said it definately makes a difference that its around your period date and that its brown and that its gone now.
