My little man arrived yesterday.
After feeling fed up with constant indigestion I jumped on dh and dtd at 39 + 4.
5 hours later I woke with period pains, I thought I was over reacting. After monitoring I realised that I was having 1 contraction every 10 mins, I rang hospital as I was grp b poss and they advised to come in.
Contractions got stronger and after monitoring and an examination I was 4cm so they transferred me to a delivery room.
I had gas and air and pethidene as emergency called anaesthetist away, got my epidural about 10 am after my IV antibiotics were in. At about 1pm I was 9cm, at just gone 2 my waters broke and I was told to push, 1st push baby's head was in sight, within 8 mins he was out and I watched the whole thing!!!
A huge contrast to my dd who I was pushing for 2 hours 40 minutes!!!
If my 1st labour was that easy I wouldn't have been so worried!!!!
