So, LO has a cold. She's had it for a few days and I think is getting over it (there's less snot today, hurrah!) however I'm slightly worried about how much she's vomiting up. She always vomits a bit (we took her to the GP who said it wasn't bad enough to worry about), but the past couple of days it's been really huge amounts, and really cheesy rather than milky (sorry, a bit TMI I know).

Is this normal for babies with a cold, that they vomit more? Or should I be worried. Baby is still purely breastfed and as far as I can think I haven't changed my diet.

I don't know if it is normal, but I know that when a baby teeths they can vomit a lot because they swallow a lot of saliva, so maybe since she is probably swallowing snot, and other fluids associated with a cold it is causing her to vomit.

As far of the cheesy, I have no idea, but maybe it is because it is more digested or has curdled because it has been there longer? Sorry I am not much help ,hopefully LO feels better soon! :)

It's most likely phlegm coming up mixed in with the milk, milk seems to help bring it up x
