Hi Ladies,
I'm going through a chemical pregnancy right now and want to ttc straight away.
I'm already researching ways to help 'prevent' another chemical/miscarriage.
Has anyone heard of using baby aspirin or has anyone used baby aspirin with successful results after a chemical?
I have a gut feeling a short luteal phase had something to do with the chemical..and as I understand it baby aspirin helps with thickening uterine lining?
So...anyone? If you had success with it when did you start taking it in your cycle??
Thanks sorry for the long post

Following !

I had two chemicals and I even bought baby aspirin but was nervous to take it. My lo is about 11-12 days and I know anything less than 10 is a problem .

So far what I've found online is take 81 mg of baby aspirin and 50mg of vitamin B6 per day to help prevent a chemical or other miscarriages. I'm getting both today it can't hurt

Are you suppose to take the baby aspirin during your whole cycle or on only certain cycle days. I am really thinking about doing it, I can't handle a third chemical pregnancy.

I took baby aspirin with my last two pregnancies, one of hi how was an unrelated ectopic pregnancy and also this time, my rainbow baby after two miscarriages and an ectopic.

Baby aspirin only helps if your losses are due to clotting issues. It thins the blood so definitely won't help thicken your uterine lining.

This article says it does help thicken uterine lining

I've read multiple sources that it does help with uterine lining but its also mean for women with blood clotting issues, which is why I haven't started taking it yet. Other then getting testing done, are they symptoms to look for if I have blood clotting issue?

I would speak to a professional. Most clotting disorders are symptomless, however my testing came back negative for the most common disorders. My midwife decided I would be best taking baby aspirin despite testing being normal.

I personally would recommend vitamin d and a higher dose of folic acid over aspirin, however if a health professional okays the use of aspirin then go for it. It is just quite risky to do without medical advice as aspirin is explicitly not recommended in pregnancy.

Yea, I agree, Im pretty nervous about taking it without my dr.'s consent first. I see him next month for some testing ( day 21) and hoping for some answers. Ill be sure to ask him if he recommends it. Right now I am taking a prenatal vitamin, iron ( Im known to have low iron so Ive been taking that for a while already), I use ashwagandha ( read that its good for fertility , helps with progesterone ) in my smoothies. May look into a higher dose of folic acid.

Definitely look into vitamin d. I took the following:

Pregnacare
400mg folic acid
Vitamin d supplement
Omega 3
75mg aspirin

I took all of this daily and got my rainbow, all was cleared off by my midwife. As well as the 21 day testing I would also get tested for clotting disorders. There was a lot of vials of blood taken but at least it was thorough!

I was told to take baby aspirin by my doctor because the last time I was pregnant the nurse had a difficult time drawing blood from me. It was so thick and took about 5 minutes to fill up one tube which, by that time, I was so dizzy I felt like I was going to pass out. I ended up losing that baby, she thinks maybe because the baby wasn't getting enough blood. I'm on it to thin my blood so hopefully if I do end up pregnant the blood will pass to the baby easier. She didn't mention anything about it thickening the uterine lining.

I am also taking 800 mcg of folic acid a day and vitamin b6 to increase the length of my LP as well as to aid in ovulation but I don't really know if it helps with implantation. My doctor did tell me to continue taking both if I did manage to get pregnant again, the folic acid to prevent birth defects in the fetus and the vitamin b6 to help with my God awful morning sickness I get. She did tell me that taking a vitamin b complex would help with implantation but she did tell me that the b vitamins should be taken separately rather than altogether for maximum absorption.

After my chemical I took Maca root, red raspberry leaf capsules (this helps heal and thicken the uterine lining), Omega 3/fish oil and prenatal. I also did the baby aspirin as soon as I got another bfp and took it until I was about 7-8 weeks and stopped. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I think I will do the baby aspirin and B6.
I feel very frustrated with my body...don't understand why the chemical had to happen. I haven't even started bleeding yet and I just want to get the ball rolling again. My cycles are so long too...i really hope the baby aspirin and vitamin B6 help, I already have to wait so long to ovulate I don't want to waste another cycle with a chemical.

At my follow up after my miscarriage, my Dr actually told me he recommends baby aspirin for people with multiple miscarriages or 2nd trimester miscarriage which is what I had. He didn't go into details of when to take it though so not much help with that part.
