I've overheard many success stories people have had with baby asprin. They take one 81mg tablet a day, it's supposed to thicken the uterine lining wall and increase blood flow to the uterus, so that the egg can implant easier during the lp. Its usually taken by someone who has had miscarriages in the past. Ive heard about people taking it and getting their bfp a month later. have any of you tried this? Do you have any morw information on it? I had a miscarriage last year and I think this might be it for me! I just got myself two bottles today and am hoping this is my month!

My OBGYN said that it "wouldn't hurt his feelings" if I started taking a baby asprin a day. He said it wont hurt, but there isn't enough research to prove it 100% true.

I had a MMC and D&C in October of 2013.

I've been taking a baby asprin a day since November but we only got the go ahead to start trying in January. I got a BFN on our first try again.

Im on prenatals clomid 100mg b complex and vitex as well as using preseed I might just throw baby asprin in the mix it if it cant hurt!! 2 yrs ttc with 2 early mc so might just be what I need!!

I use it as I'm diabetic if my levels go high it thickens blood so aspirin fights against that happening so I guess it does help I also take calcium as it helps with the aspirin can't explain it without using my hands like doc did lol

My doc started me on aspirin 81mg in December. I'm sure it helps the blood flow better to our reproductive organs.
She also had me start vitamin D3 daily.

I don't know about it thickening the uterine lining, as aspirin is a blood thinner. Perhaps it simply helps by increasing the flow of blood to the uterus and ovaries, by making it a little thinner. One baby aspirin a day is a low dose, but a daily apsirin regimen can cause stomach irritation over time, so just keep that in mind. Take it with food if you have a sensitive stomach and then stop as soon as you get that BFP. Good luck!

True it can irritate, but older adults are also on daily aspirin for heart and stroke health.
I think you are right about bringing more blood to the area to help thicken the lining.

Im trying it this cycle, hopeful to see a bfp, fingers crossed. Thank you ladies for replying. I haven't been on in a whole but im happy to see replies :))

I'm trying baby aspirin for the first time this month because I have lupus which means I have certain antibodies in my blood that can affect implantation/cause early miscarriages and baby aspirin is shown to help with that.

littlefishygg, well this was my first month giving baby asprin a try and I was supposed to get AF two days ago. havent gotten it. i think Im going to wait about a week before I get a test. I hate to buy one and then have my period show up. this wait sucks. Im keeping my fingers crossed though. i just havent had any pregnancy signs whats so ever so that makes me a little nervous. Best of luck xx

I actually got my :bfp: yesterday morning 2 days before AF was due. Test, test, test! Not everyone gets symptoms early so lack of symptoms doesn't mean you are out and a lack period is definitely a promising sign!
GOOD LUCK!
