Baby Bath / Unit

lol ...

I used 3 different products with maddie and i brought a baby bath ...

Baby bath ... couldn't get comfy when bathing her and she never had enough room for kicky kickies!!

So in the big bath she went but some of those "aids" to help bath them ?? OMG nightmare!

That sponge one u could wring it out till the cows came home it smelt ...
The seat?? she could never get comfy as it was raised in the middle
The fabric one? was PANTS kept lolling sideways out of it!

Sooooooo this one i gonna try .... looks the best so far but will it beat the rest??

LOL Caroline

Like the idea of that one as well Imi :D

I've got this one, think it'll be easier for us as we rarely use the bath and have a wet room with shower and we can sit on the floor comfortably and let bubs make as much splash as they like.

I picked this one up on Ebay for £5 to put away. It has two supports built in, one side for newborn and the other side for when baby can sit up

My sister had a bath/changing unit and it was really useful for her while she recovered from a C-Section, but after that it was just a pain to fill and empty. It also took up space she needed so she got rid of it.

I had a bath support from Mothercare which fit in his baby bath and the bath. Only used the baby bath a few times because I found it too heavy to carry with the water in.

Heres what we have and I'm using it this time round too!

Yip me going with one of those - Thanks girls :D

why not get a rubber bath mat fill water to an inch or so and lay babe down in big bath? I do this now,for first few weeks used a bath with a support and now just let melie have a good old splash about she loves it.

Question..................

What's wrong with the kitchen sink? Perfect size for little ones, no filling, carrying, emptying, spilling, great height with you've had a c section, and plenty of space next to it for bottles!

My hv suggested it to me when I said I was struggling carrying the baby bath, and it was perfect.

Granted, it did get a bit awkward when Charlie was getting older, but having only a shower/wet room, we had nowhere else to bath him.

Now he's in the big bath and loves splashing! Oh, and he point blank refuses to sit in a seat in the bath!:dohh:

ive been struggling lately with what to do when i bath rhys. he is 6 months and getting too big for his baby bath but our bath tub is quite deep and my arms cant get over the sides to support him properly. would you girls suggest one of those plastic support things now or am i better just filling the bath a little bit like bexxie...

ps. i bathed rhys in the kitchen sink for the first month!!!!

I like bathing maddie with me its fun!!

Why don't do have mummy and rhys fun bath time!!!! lots of bath toys, bubbles and giggles!!!

Get colin on hand to get him out for you, if colin not there empty bath, then u get out then get rhys out :)

I find it soooo much fun can't wait til i get a house with a bath lol i only have a shower here but still try to make it fun!

With maddie i got a plastic water mill that stuck to the side of the bath, a fish that swam and some cups she loved it!!

Also a crab mirror ... she thinks its fab that she can see her self lol
