I went in at 38 weeks to try and turn baby because he was breech and I was already 6 cms dilated! so they gave me an epidural just incase something happened and they needed to do a c-section right away..so after the epidural m doctor started the ECV and she was actually able to turn him but his heart rate dropped so low and his heart actually looked like it stopped on the ultrasound!!! I started screaming "get him out now" and they were all telling me breath breath you have to breath for the baby and with in 1 minute they had opened me up and he was out :) weighing 7lbs 8 oz .By the time they opened me he had returned to his original position head up :dohh: haha so what my doctor thinks happened is that pressure was applied to the cord and cut circulation for a second. he did have a ball of cord right under his feet and thats why he couldn't turn on his own..they ran with him to the nursery to check on his breathing and health in general. he spent about 8 hours there and then they released him to the general nursery and has been doing great ever since :cloud9:
I can't believe he's a week old already! I love him so much :cloud9:
here is a picture of him I hope it works I haven't done this before!
