Baby Bugs Due February 2013

Evening, hope your cold gets better soon lindy they suck! :hugs:

Jem Hope your day got better

Smiley and mrs can't wait to see pics I was hopeing to get ollie and feebs christened end of July but can't get to church on a Sunday, every week so far had something planned! Going to go on my own this week with three kids, could be chaotic:haha: how many god parents have you chosen? We don't no whether to have 3or four?

We've gone for three - two men (Alex's best man and his brother) and one lady (my chief bridesmaid). She actually isn't christened herself and doesn't believe in anything... I'm now wondering if this will matter! Hopefully not. :p

I've no idea Mrs?? How exciting, can't wait for photos. Lindy you will have to put some on here!
Hope you feel better soon and apart fom what the others suggest I've no extra to add? Is he asleep now? How do you settle him during the day?

I love days like that MF, when you get loads done.

I'm chilled now. Isla come In at 6am and woke everyone up! Took them to toddlers and then to food shop and all they did was moan coz there tired. Just one thing after the other. Plus the second dress I've ordered for a wedding this Friday is horrid on and so I'm still dressless and to top my day off af has arrived. Boo hoo.

I think I'm going to take the full year mat leave? I've not mentioned it to Shaun yet, but I've still got six kit days to use (and all of those would make a wage of £700- so slightly more than the smp I get now) and I have accrued 7 weeks holiday between last Jan and end of Dec this year.... So apart from a couple of weeks I think I won't lose out money wise?
Nhs ladies, the question is can I take all my holiday at once? If you see what I'm saying?

Also I'm struggling on how I'm going to fit my sleep in with dropping Isla off and picking her up, so I'm thinking of doing Monday and Tuesday nights and a Saurday (extra money) and then seeing if I can go term time only?? A colleague who has left did this... So stressful.

Anyway rant over, I have healthy children and I guess that all that matters!

Hope your all ok xxx

Sounds familiar, I feel like I've been up a lifetime when the day starts at 6 am. :hugs:

I'm taking my leave on back of mat leave so should be fine! A year sounds lovely, I have to go back soon as money drops too low and we are trying to finish a loft conversion! My first kit is next Friday only 5 hours but paid 7.5 so can't grumble but a little nervous

Mrs that's what our plans were for ollie two men and one female and for phoebe two female one male, but have one more that we want but don't want unequal so have some tough decisions. One of ours isn't christened but we are just not mentioning :haha:

Evening,

You can defo take all your leave at once jem. I'm having a year off too and will do some kit days.

Why can't I stop eating and eating rubbish? The more time goes on, the more pressure I feel to lose the baby weight. Know what I mean? It's really getting me down but I cannot find the motivation or discipline to eat healthily. Ugh. I'm getting to the point where I want to avoid seeing people because I feel so uncomfortable about the weight.

We have got one godfather and one godmother and they are both the same as the ones we chose for Oscar. We have been to church for three weeks on the bounce now. Ours is a catholic church so it is actually 'Mass' that we attend. Its incredibly dull. At least one of our godparents had to be catholic (which the godfather is) so we are all good. I dont have any beliefs and neither does the godmother.

I'm still bigger! 9 stone 3 but usual is 8 stone 7. I know it not loads but its enough to make me feel very uncomfortable and still not fit in my usual clothes. Yet I'm still eating way too much of the wrong stuff. But then our babies are still only 20 weeks ish....xx

Oh yay, Lou. We're christening Harry Catholic too (I'm not, Alex is). Both our male godparents are Catholic, so we're all good then. Plus, Alex's uncle is doing the baptism lessons/service, so I'm sure it won't be a problem about my matey not being christened. I don't think we'll tell him though. :p

I've got a church wedding to go to in Friday... No offence ladies, but I'm not religious so not looking forward to listening the the religious stuff and singing the hyms. I've no idea how long a church wedding takes? I guess I will be very pre occupied with the girlies x

Thanks jem :hugs: same with me, I'm not overweight' I'm just over my comfortable weight. A lot of my friends with babies are really full on about losing it, just don't know where they get drive and energy. Don't worry about fridsy- I went to a christening recently and didn't see much if the service with theo so I'm sure your girls will keep yoiu busy :)

Jem some are shorter than others.

My nan keeps going on about getting my children christened but its pointless to me. No offence but im not religious so why my nan feels the need because 'its a nice thing to do' apparently. I have done a nature blessing though and will take jade again at 6mths. We just make them a bracelet and dip them in the sea but no mention of god lol x

Have you been going to Mass Bex?xx

MF that sounds really nice! Would love to do something like that! Im not bothered about these being christened, if it were up to me i wouldnt have bothered!

I am the same GF and Jem - about half a stone more than where I want to be.

I am doing couch to 5k (on week 3) and am eating healthily monday to friday and trying to be restrained at the weekend!

It is bloody hard with the bfing :nope:

I have lost 3lbs so far though (normally I can lose half a stone in a week if I want to!) But I do feel fitter and healthier.

I am 4 stone heavier than I was before I fell pregnant with Oscar :nope:

We haven't been going to mass, Lou, because the priest never said we had to. He only said we needed to complete the baptismal course, which Alex's uncle will kindly do for us in two sessions. It's mainly because we're getting Harry christened in the family church in Hastings, and we live in Canterbury, so it's hard to get down there every weekend for mass and/or lessons.

Jem, our wedding was about an hour long, but only because we had a full mass and about 5 hymns. :p I wanted to wear my dress as long as possible in front of everyone watching us. Haha! Take all the God bits with a pinch of salt and enjoy the sentiment of the day. <3

Lucky you! We have been to Mass for three weeks now and I will be going every week up until the baptism!! He hasnt said we have t but I feel cheeky not going now that he has confirmed our date for baptism lol. Martin isnt going again :growlmad: so i feel like I have to.

Church weddings are quite boring Jem, I went to one last august, and it was on Oscars first birthday so that was a kick in the teeth!!

I fell asleep at my auntys wedding. I try not to be disrespectful but I dont get the religion thing. People go on at us to get married all the time but house and three kids is enough commitment. (That and im waiting for prince Harry ;)) lol
