My little man, Cailean, was born on 18th October 2009 by c-section after a failed induction. He had been due on 4th October so induction was scheduled for +11 days. He weighed 9lbs 11oz (well overcooked!) and we love him to bits!!!
Section was straightforward, couldnt believe how quickly it all happened. Started on Thursday 15th October with hormone pessaries then the prosta...whatsitcalled gel - two doses. But this little man was not for moving so neither of these procedures opened my cervix (which was clamped shut at 1cm dilated!!) and so needed c section to get him out. Even with those horrible internal exams would repeat it all again in a blink!!!
