Baby carrier for hot climates

Does anyone have any recommendation for a baby carrier that is most suitable for hot climates? I would prefer one which is quite easy to use and doesn't have metres and metres of material, and preferably one my fella could use too.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

The Connecta in Solarweave fabric is designed for hot weather, the material blocks 95% of the sun's rays and it's apparently very light and breathable. It's a mei tai style carrier that buckles instead of tying - I've got a Connecta Integra (same style, different material) and it's super comfy and easy to use.
