Baby carrier recommendations for the summer?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a type of baby carrier for warm weather?

I currently use a Boba (stretchy) wrap which I love (easy to get DD in/out and to feed her in it), but we've had a few warm days and both me and DD start to sweat when she's in it for a while.

I really want an Ergo but have heard good things about woven wraps as well. I'm going to a wedding in July so would like something I can use comfortably for a whole afternoon, and either feed her in without too much adjustment or easily take on/off to feed.

I would probably recommend a light woven wrap or a ring sling in that case. We have a moby wrap, a woven wrap and an Ergo, and I have always found wraps to be less hot and sweaty than the Ergo. Even in winter, my daughter gets a bit hot in the Ergo. They are lovely for walking though and doing outdoor activities, but if you want something to wear indoors and sitting down at a wedding or dinner, you'll probably find a wrap is much more comfortable for both of you. As long as you're both not over-dressed baby shouldn't overheat in a wrap and your body will cool her, but you might find letting her have her arms out if she's able to support her head well will keep her cooler. I'm not an expert on fabrics, but woven wraps come in lots of different types and weights of fabric. I'd look for something pretty light for the summer. Maybe someone else can offer more advice on exactly what fabrics to look for. You might also try a few at a local sling meet to see which feels best and lightest and you could even hire one to try at home if you'd like.

i love the k'tan and they have a breeze version that's half mesh, so it's lighter and cooler. i really love it for the ease of use and it's much less fabric than a wrap.
