I've hit a brick wall with this girls and I need your help!
Leo has napped during the day in his bouncey chair and wont nap anywhere else other than his chair:dohh: The thing is, he's 24 lbs now and his butt is on the floor and the stitching is stretched to within :dohh:n inch of its life! Ive looked but cant find anything similar to swap him over to. Ive thought about beanbags but theres no straps on to keep him on it.

Any Idea's?

How about this?

Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker

Emma napped in it when she was a newborn & now she sometimes has food from it, it can either be a rocker or a chair (just pull down the legs), folds up, you can adjust height of chair/how reclined it is....might be an idea?????? x

Ooohhhhhhhhhh thats bloody perfect! Exactly what I was after:thumbup:

His baby chair is that sort of shape so yep I think I shall have to find me one of those.

Thanks hun:hugs:

We got this two wks ago and i wish i got it from birth xx

Yeah, why didn't I see it earlier....:dohh:

On a mission to find one now...sam sell me yours! :haha:

I posted about this a little while ago as Sam loves his bouncy chair but is too big for it and I wanted an alternative. I was going to buy the fisher price infant to todler rocker but when I looked for reviews on it, I was really put off. My husband researched it too and found lots of bad reviews, people saying that their babies had fallen out etc.It sounds like it's great for younger babies but not for older ones who can sit unaided. I'm sorry if I'm butting in but just wanted to let you know what I had found out about it.

Ohhh thankyou...hmmnnn does it have straps to restraint an older child in do you know? See atm, Leo can sort of lean forward in his baby chair and actually crawl out, If that one just restraints at the bottom then he will do that but fall further:dohh:

aww where did u get em from ?wot they called ? like jac morgans chairs just knackered i sit him in it and hes nearly hitting the floor:rofl:

Think its just around the waist hun, looks well comfy and I dont think he will fall out cause its layed right back, and it lasts till age 10 x

sorry only just seen this after your pm jac, tbh the doomoo is gorgeous but even at 6 months eden looked huge in it! they are great for older kids to sit up in and watch tv (my 4 year old loved it) and stuff but for babys to sleep in they look quite short, oh and eden sweated so much in it, dunno why that was

this is eden at 4 months sitting in hers and as you can see her feet where near the bottom of it.
the harness isnt very secure, you cant really fasten it tight around them so i think an older baby could easily squirm there way outta it.

i will be watching this thread cos im having the same problem, the only seat ive seen that holds heavier babys are the baby bjorn babysitter which goes upto 2 years and holds upto 28lb

Thanks Nik.....Hmmm
she does look big in it.....

Leo is already 24lbs, so another 4lbs and he would be at his limit in the bjorn..arghhhh!

I'm stuck all over again then:dohh:

ive been looking at this one

The Fisher Price one is very sturdy, I think a lot of the reviews are based on old designs as there have been a few. My cousin gave me one that lasted all of her 3 boys (oldest is 6 now) and Brady is fine in it and we have tipped it forward and played with it to see if there's anyway he could rock himself over and I cant see it. That one lives at my parents now and I've just bought another one as they were on sale at Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisher-Pri...f=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1266015267&sr=8-1 even the picture on here is an older design, the seat design is the same but it actually has a different back bar and the feet things at the front stick out much further on my one than the one pictured here.

The one Pinksnowball mentioned is an even newer design, I haven't actually seen it but it looks a bit lower to the ground so would probably be even better.

I've just ordered the precious planets one as Sienna is outgrowing her bouncy chair now and keeps pulling forward in it! It comes wednesday so will let you know what its like :flower:
