baby chester jenkins is here and we are home at last!!

here is my gorgeous boy!!!!

born 4.20am thur aug 26th, weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces

got home from hospital yesterday evening, so happy to be home.

will write my birth story later but cliffnotes version lol......

ended up with induction at 42 weeks, was progressing ok but baby turned back to back during labour. he was in distress and i couldn't push him out so was prepped for theatre where they thank god managed to turn him around and pull him out with forceps so i didn't need a section. baby chester is doing absolutely brilliantly but i've been poorly, hence being in hospital for a week. much much better now, they thought it was a womb infection but thankfully its a nasty uti probably caused by all the messing with me and or the catheter. the problem was that they have been unable to control my temperature so i've had a few occasions where i couldn't stop shaking. still extemely sore as i've been so unwell and run down that my stiches are gaping open so need to be really careful.

BUT he's gorgeous, we are absolutely made up
