I have just washed all the linen for the moses basket with non bio products but just realised my iron is full of scented ironing water. Is it ok to use ironing water or would this be an irritant ?

Should I just tip it out and refill with plain water ?

I am doing baby clothes tomorrow and don't want to have to re-wash them all if I shouldn't be using ironing water,

dnt really think itl make much diff hun coz its not soakin the clothes in it! its only gettin the scented iron stuff if ur pressin the scooshy botton on ur iron i soppose! wudnt worry about it!

xx

Personally I wouldn't worry about it either. It's different for every baby whether they're sensitive to scented soaps. With my first DS we didn't buy a special laundry detergent to do his clothes and luckily he was fine. so we're hoping for the same with this one lol.

Thanks I did think it probably wouldn't be much of a problem after all I am literally just running the iron over them but I thought it would be just my luck I do everything and then read that ironing water is a complete no no lol

See now I'm thinking I'm a bad mum to be, I'm not ironing any of the baby's stuff!!
