Baby dropped from 7th centile to 2nd

First of all I should tell you I have health anxiety so probably making mountain out of molehill!

My son is 20 weeks this thursday coming. He was 6lb 8ox born and has following the space between 2nd and 9th centile. At 17 weeks he was still on this line at 12lb 3oz but at 19 weeks, he had dropped to 2nd and was only 12lb 7ox, a gain of only 5 oz in fortnight.

HV wants to keep an eye on him. In those 2 weeks, he wasn't taking much milk and if he had so much was being sick. As it transpires, he has wanted food so we have been weaning him which he loves and he doesn't spit it out. He has also got his milk back upto 20-25 oz day though it should be 30oz. Has anyone been through this?

He is really active, really bright alert and happy, looks healthy as anything but HV has said if he doesn't pick up in the fortnight will be a GP referral. Has anyone been through this?

I should add he was predominantly bf til 3 months, then half and half until 4 month and in the weeks he dropped had pretty bad thrush on sides of mouth

Sounds a bit like Reflux to me.

Mine was born in 50th centile and then from 10 wks dropped to 9th centile and wa sin and out of that for wks. Then i think at about 5 tmsh he suddenley had a great weight gain and he;s back in 50th and has stayed there since. i used to really worry but they do work it out.
