baby dropping??

Does it really mean anything when your baby drops? I'm 37 weeks to today, have a purple line on my but! But not getting contractions. Is it just wishful thinking?!

I don't think so, my daughter never dropped & arrived on her due date. I'm due on Tuesday & this baby hasn't dropped either - I wish he would though, I may be able to breathe properly again lol xx

Ive heard that you dont need to drop until your in labour, but some woman drop weeks before. In my experience I did drop a few weeks before my dd was born, i remember feeling really heavy below, and pressure on my cervix. I'm 3 weeks from due date, and starting to feel like i'm dropping!

Lol everyones going to be checking for the purple line now! I hope not! My Lil man dropped over a wk ago and I'm only 30 wks! .... I have friends that didn't drop until a couple days or day of labor though I dropped wks early with my last also.... It all depends on what station you are at once baby has dropped....
