Baby Finley is here

More of an announcement than a full birth story. Baby Finley rushed into the world on the 17th Oct. Waters broke at 4:15am on the 16th. Was getting contractions but they ended up fizzling out. Went to hospital following day to have Synto drip to help contractions. First contraction at 17:45. They came on strong and fast. After a 2hr43 1st stage and a 2min 2nd stage labour my newest little man was here! Had no time for pain meds, delivered using G&A and was left with a debatable 1st degree tear which required no stitching.

He was born at 20:30 and weighed 6lb11oz. He's such a dream to have around. I am smitten.
