I know they are a bit of fun to count down the days till birth but the baby fruit size chart makes me giggle....

Haha! Seriously? How is a coconut at 35 weeks bigger than a pineapple at week 31..... unless its a very small pineapple....or an extremely big coconut! lol!

 I know right!! I try not to take it too seriously. It made more sense when it was poppy seeds and blueberries, but these big fruits are way dodgy!

They deffo need to pick things that are more consistent in size lol!

I think my 40 week fruit is made up. Ive NEVER heard of it. And on that pic it doesnt look big enough!

Unless its a coconut that's just fallen from the tree - they're quite big.... lol

My hubby and I make up names of fruits to keep each other laughing.

I'll send him a message saying this week the baby is the size of a peruvian mangomelon, then the next week it will be a dominican swede, which tells you how much faith we put into the fruits being correct!

   MUCH more accurate :winkwink:

Yeah - still trying to figure out how I went from eggplant to acorn squash to cucumber. Really? Are these cucumbers and squashes on steroids 'cause where I come from they are quite a bit smaller than an eggplant.

I'm glad I'm past the pineapple stage. Every time I saw "baby's now the size of a pineapple" I would imagine having to birth a pineapple and think ouch!

Haha! That does sound painful but honestly a watermelon doesn't sound much more pleasant! :haha:

Hilarious lol :laugh2:

I'm confused by it all too! I was a cantaloupe at 24 weeks and at 26 lettuce, now I'm this weird rutabaga thing that seems way smaller than the 24wk cantaloupe :D I agree with PP saying that it made more sense in the beginning.. Lol
