baby name, what would you do?

Me and our partner are so set up on the name Rachel Faith Reilly, Faith the middle name, Rachel the first name only trouble is my partners mum doesnt like the name because it has so many R's in it, and there is a boy in the family called Ryan and doesnt want another R in the family. It took me this long to decide on a name that we were both happy with and now I feel bad and feel as if I should be changing it, but then I think if I dont use this name I might regret it, any advice people?

I would use the name Rachel Faith, you will never be able to please everyone hun, and she is your baby, if you and OH are happy then that is what matters. What if you found another name and she didnt like that either? No this is the pair of you choice.

its yours and your parnters baby no one elses tell her that that is the name you have chosen and she will have to get used to it as it is up to you whatyou call your child, if you went out pleasing everyone then your child wouldnt have a name so the only people you intend on pleasing are you and your partner as that is all that matters. i mean come on just think of your surname sayit was smith - well there you go too many s's as everyone in the family has the name smith!! she needs to think of it that way.
tell her to butt out. you've chosen the name and are sticking to it as it is what you have fallen in love with and want to call YOUR child. xx

Use it. We chose the name alexandra and her cousin is 4 months oldEr and he is archie - the only thing is sometimes grandma mixes their names up! But she also called me by my sisters names when we were younger so it's no big deal

1. It's your decision, so choose a name that you love!
2. I think the name sounds BEAUTIFUL!

Dont let anyone put you off the name youve chosed, we made that mistake . If you are both happy with it then stick to it, personally I dont see what isnt to like, its a very nice name . xx

Its a beautiful name - so I think you should use it! We're also considering Faith for a second name. I liked Grace but its become really popular, which puts me off a little.
Plus, with the initials... she may one day get married and have a completely different surname - so It doesn't really matter that much!

As everyone has said it's your choice and to be honest, I think too many R's in the family is a naff excuse, it is a lovely lovely name and think you'll regret it if you settle for something else. x

there is only 2 R's in the name, thats not a lot. and who cares if there are two r names in the family, its your choice hun and its a lovely name, i say go for it! x

I'd use it, It's a very pretty name and totally your choice. My dhs gran will have a Liam, Logan, Leah and Luca as great grandkids when my baby is born She also has a Kayleigh, Carly and Conner. None of us gave it a second thought.
