Hello ladies...
I just wanted to update everyone on the birth of baby Noah George.
Induced at 38 weeks due to his lack of growth and my blood pressure. Pessery was put in at 10.30am wednesday 22nd feb. I was already 1cm (since having him, midwife has told me that he would have come early as i was dilating before i went into be induced.). 9.30pm started having a few twinges. Through the night had regular contractions. By 11.00am thursday 23rd i was 3cm. By 4pm i went round to labour ward to have my waters broken. They delayed that because others were having epidurals and c sections. I would have delivered a lot quicker if they did that and not left me in pain.
Midwife examined me around 5pm and i was 8cm. She left me on a monitoring machine. I had a gush of fluid and was excited to think it was my waters. I looked down and blood was pouring out. Panic hit because of the complications i have had and my mum had had 3 miscarriages. Called the midwife back in and she said it was completely normal. Well noone told me so panic over. Tried gas and air. Dint like it and didn't work for me so i did it on my own. Still carnt believe it as I'm a right weakling lol. Eventually she broke my waters and i started pushing at 10cm. Took an hour of pushing and he kept getting close to crowning but kept sucking back. His heart rate was falling to 100 and midwifes explained that i needed to be cut. They injected me and as soon as i saw the scissors on the last contraction i pushed twice and pushed once more without a contraction as i didn't want to be cut. Out came Noah George. Head and body flopped out after I got his head out. Pedeatriction was standing buy with air inhilator but he came out screaming. Weed on me twice and he's doing just fine. Weighing just 4.10lb he is a strong little man and has a right grasp on him
Very proud of my little man. He now weighs 3 weeks later 5.14 and is very strong for a smallie
