Baby not moving much at 25/26 weeks.....

Well now I am stressing that she's stuck in breech like that. That has to be why the movements have slowed down, since the Dr didn't seem concerned about anything at the appointment yesterday. I hope she wiggles her was to a better position soon. :/

Ha! I just realized I was thinking backwards yesterday with a high placenta muffling breech kicks. I don't know what my brain was doing when I posted, but clearly it wasn't reading B&B... Either way, if she's breech, she may be kicking a less sensitive spot. I feel the most movement in front and on the side, not high or low.

Well her feet are straight up in the air by her face.... :/ It doesn't look very comfortable!

I just felt a big roll a little while ago. Im hoping she's trying to get out of that position. I hope so i can relax a little!! I started doing exercises i found online to help her move. lol

Ah, ok. So I guess I wasn't too far off! I think that's one of the better breeches, at least! They roll around all over the place at this point - I'm pretty sure I can feel my little guy changing position now and then. Some babies don't flip til labor, even. I wouldn't worry til the last month or so. I've heard great things about Spinning Babies, though.

That's where i got my exercises from.... Spinning babies. :)

BTW.. here is the pic from yesterday. She looks like her dad. :)

That is the placenta by her face.

Aww, cute! It's amazing how much they can see with 3D scans now, isn't it? I remember when they mostly just looked like weird creepy melting wax babies.

I know it's so cool! I am getting another one at 30 weeks. Doc said she's still kind of skinny at this point so we will do it at 30 weeks when she's fattened up a little to get a real clear pic. :)

I just switched to this doctor. They really are great. My other one was a lop and the office girls were a bunch of morons (sorry to say).. I bet they never would have took me in yesterday.. just told me to go to L&D. So glad i switched.

Just wanted to update that baby girl was rolling around and thumping around last night again. The kicks aren't as sharp as they had been but I am chopping that up to her position that she is in. I feel better though now. :)

Glad she's getting a workout! T was lazy yesterday, but he's kicking up a storm today. I can see him wobbling my belly, even, but of course he stops as soon as DH looks over...

Lol. don't you hate that.

Mine is always pretty quiet during the day. It's at night that I might get lucky! lol Hopefully as time moves on she will be a little more active and stop driving me insane. lol

Does being on a low/no sugar diet make the baby less active? I keep hearing everyone say, drink some juice or eat something sugary and the baby will start moving around... what if you can't do that? I'm not allowed to drink juice or anything with sugar, so I was wondering if that makes the baby "more quiet"?

I'm about 25 weeks as well and in the past week there was a few days where I noticed he wasn't kicking or moving around as much, or at least not like he used to. I usually feel him more at night when I'm laying down so when I wasn't feeling him I started to get a little paranoid. But from what I've read or been told it's normal to experience this sometimes. They could have flipped, or had a growth spurt and are just super tired. And like others have pointed out as the baby grows there's less room for them to move around. The past two nights he's back to kicking and moving quite a bit!

Is your baby quiet?

She's thumping around today. :)

Always a refreshing feeling. I think this breech position she put herself in is having a lot to do with what I am feeling lately. I am just going to try and relax now. lol

I've heard something cold can sometimes do the trick as well. So if you can't have orange juice (what I've heard being recommended) you could maybe try some ice cold water? Just an idea!

I would recommend getting checked just to put your mind at rest.

Your maternity notes should show your placenta position on the ultrasound report.

I'm sure it's fine but I would get checked regardless of hb sounding normal, it's not worth risking it.

My lil bean wriggles randomly throughout the day but there is some kind of pattern.
Sometimes it's harder kicks others dull little ones.

Let us know how you get on

Hi thanks... I did go in and get checked and all looked ok. Seems like she was moving around more yesterday and the day before so that is good. Also, my first daughter was pretty quiet in the womb my whole pregnancy.. I remember checking myself into labor and delivery at least 4 times because of it. I guess I just don't make super hyper babies. lol idk.
