baby registry help?

can someone please give me some advice on what to register for?
my mom says she has friends who want to buy me stuff so i need to register.
but i don't really know what to get.
any help?

I registered for bout just everything. Crib,changing table,diaper bag, bottles binkies blanket you name it

If you go to babies r us, they have someone you can set an appointment with to help you pick out everything you need, or if you know someone who just had a baby bring them a long.

I picked smaller items because not everyone can afford the big things

We bought the big things (travel system, extra carseat, pack and play, crib, changing table, bedding) and put the necessities and things on the registry. I didn't even bother putting clothes since that is what most people choose to get anyways. I also registered at two places. BabiesRUs also has a guide online when updating your registry.
