Baby swing - swings too fast? Or am I overreacting?

Is anyone else concerned that their baby swing rocks back & forth a little too fast for their newborns? Even on the lowest setting, by Fisher Price Cradle & Swing seems to go pretty darn fast!!!

Having said that, my peanut Samantha seems to like it, the speed doesn't seem to bother her. I'm just curious...? I'm a first-time mom so may be overreacting to stuff like that?

Yep i agree, we have the graco sweetpeace and it has 6 settings, number one is fast enough! We have heard Harry crying in it when lottie has been past the swing and moved it up to 6! We have to remember to lock the buttons so she can't mess with it! It is pretty fast! x
