Baby tattoos

OH and I are thinking of getting tattoos for DD as our gifts to each other for Mother's Day next month. We know we, well mostly I, know that I want to have her footprint from when she was a baby, her name and birth date. I do know we don't want her face in it. Nothing that big. Not too sure what OH wants. We aren't going to get matching ones as I don't like matching tattoos, but rather tattoos for her that we each like. Just looking for ideas of what others have done. So if anyone has a picture of a tattoo you had done for your child(ren) please show me pics!!

Friends of ours have lovely tattoos for their son. She has his footprint with his date of birth and he has a pocket watch at the time he was born. They are both so nice x

Ive got my daughters birth date in roman numerals on my wrist.

I have a swallow tattoo on my inside of my ankle with my three children's names. I chose a swallow as it's supposed to represent "love, care and affection towards family, showing the loyalty of the person always returning to them." and was the nicest symbol I could find. My tattoo artist keeps telling me to go back so he can make it more of a design so I want to add some forget me nots for our angel

My oh has his oldest sons initials on his wrist in fancy letters which is nice too

This is a good idea. OH and I both have tree tattoos so maybe I can add something to them both.

I like the idea of the bird like PP said, but I have also seen more simple ones like just the name and birth date
