Baby that won't take a bottle: tip!

I expressed some milk so my husband could feed the baby this afternoon and Leo wouldn't take it..I know there are a lot of moms that say their LO won't take a bottle so I wasnt surprised..but my mom showed me something pretty neat..she took off the lid and fed it to him from an open cup and he didn't spill a drop!

I looked into it and apparently with a little help breastfed babies of any age can drink from a cup..especially if they haven't taken a bottle..

My baby is in the NICU and while she is still too little for oral feeds they do cup feeds frequently with other babies. I always assumed it was bottle or boob and thought they would drown just about with a regular cup.

Great tip! Childcare used to spoon feed my DD her milk as she absolutely refused the bottle. She started using a sippy cup pretty early but I never tried just using a normal cup, didn't think of it tbh.

We use a Doidy for LO because he won't take a bottle either, he looks so cute and grown up with it!
