Where do you get yours?

I've been to tesco, asda, mothercare, m&s and sainsburys and can't find any that don't say "unsuitable for children under 3" on the label! Does anyone just ignore this??

I'm looking for some head shade for my baldy lady, other than hats! Thanks :flower:

I personally ignore the age warning on it, lo wears clips but she doesn't wear them unsupervised and we take them out at nap times. i buy mine from a lady on facebook as she can make them to match certain outfits etc :)

H&M have headbands in the baby section so i just assumed they were ok for babies/toddlers.
I've got a little man so have never actually read the labels but i can't imagine they would put them there if they weren't ok :)

If it says 3 years then there's a reason. If they've got bows/flowers/butterflies or whatever attached then these may contain small parts. If its a stretchy headband then it might be a strangulation risk.

I'd have had to ditch half of Aisling's belongings by now if I'd stuck to not before the age of 3! It does tend to be in relation to small parts, strangulation etc but as long as it's not obviously dangerous and LO doesn't have it unsupervised (eg in the back of the car) then I'd use with general caution.

I got these for my LO and they are excellent, no dangerous bits on them and they stay put !! Brilliant value for money https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12x-1-5-Baby-Toddler-Girls-Crochet-Headband-Hair-Bands-/330563715144?pt=UK_Baby_Girls&hash=item4cf7220048

Thanks! I think I'll start in h&m (need an excuse to go shopping :haha: )

I wouldn't leave dd unsupervised with a headband either :flower:

oh good. It's not just my toddler that's super bald. We were shopping last night and the sales girl was having fun attempting to get a clip into Avery's "hair". :haha:

As long as they are supervised while wearing a hair ornament, I don't see the problem with 3+ headbands. If they are in the girl's department they can be a little larger than the baby ones. Check first to make sure they aren't to large for your daughter's head.

Hehe - no it isn't! My dd has about as much hair as your lo in your avatar pic (love the green boppers btw). There's no way we'd get a clip in so headbands are my only girlie hair option :haha:

I think Avery had about 6 strands more since that pic was taken mid-March. Look I got a bow in it last week.
